This is an exciting opportunity for a Youth Worker to reach out to young people in local communities across York who may not know church, working within The Belfrey’s youth team and their worshipping community.

ROLE

The Youth Outreach Worker will join the existing Team in leading an energetic and effective youth ministry at The Belfrey, specifically targeting outreach to 11-18 year olds in local communities across York. Partnering with churches is key to delivering effective outreach ministry and working alongside other youth workers and charities. Helping to recruit and equip Volunteer Youth Leaders will help grow and sustain opportunities to deliver high quality opportunities for young people in the city.

THE PERSON

We are looking for someone with experience in youth outreach, enjoys leading teams, has a heart for evangelism and pioneering new ministries.
